ALERT
American Lebanese Emergency Response Team

The American Lebanese Emergency Response Team, also known as ALERT, is comprised of professional men and women who have in the past or currently work in the field of public safety. ALERT is an Emergency Response Task Force that is regionally based and manages multi-jurisdictional asset deployment throughout the US and Internationally.

ALERT is an American organization that focuses on providing both domestic and international support, most specifically works to bring advanced training and innovation to the field of Public Safety in the country of Lebanon. By doing so, ALERT also works to promote positive relations and good will between the Unites States and Lebanon.

Members of ALERT shall contribute to the advancement of the United States of America primarily and Lebanon secondarily; shall work diligently to promote positive relations between the two countries and other countries which may call upon it.

The mission of the American Lebanese Emergency Response Team is to provide the highest level of Professionalism and Expertise in Firefighting and protection, Search and Rescue, Emergency Medical Services, Public Safety, Haz-Mat, Sea Rescue, Diving Rescue, and Emergency Disaster Response Unit.

The goal of American Lebanese Emergency Response Team is to respond to calls from US agencies and international countries, more specifically Lebanon, as needed to promote safety, protect life, preserve property, and provide support during emergencies that require our expertise.

ALERT aims to be a good Ambassador of the United States, work with government and non-governmental agencies to educate, train, and prepare Emergency Response Personnel in countries like Lebanon to be more equipped and more effective in their effort to provide emergency services, fighting fires, handling hazardous materials, sea and diving rescue.

MEMBERSHIP

Help us help others

Membership in American Lebanese Emergency Response Team is open to any man or women, 18 years of age or older, who has the desire and ability to support the mission of the organization.

Application for membership, along with a Resume or Curriculum Vitae, shall be submitted to the Secretary General or any member of the Executive board.

Prospective member shall not have any criminal history or felony records.

Prospective member must be approved by the Executive Board for a conditional status for a period no longer than six months.

The board shall decide to give conditional members full membership status or extend the conditional status or terminate affiliation with organization within 10 days prior or after the six months conditional status has been met.

The membership of active members is renewed automatically once a year; unless the executive board meets, discusses and decides to change said status.

The executive board may terminate the membership of an active any time to protect the organization. The board must call a meeting of its board, give notice to such member, present justification to its reasoning and give the member opportunity to appeal said decision.

Any disaster such as an earthquake, hurricane, tornado, fire, flood, or even terrorist act can be frightening, but over the years, we have discovered that fear can be overcome by understanding and education.

A.L.E.R.T Instructors has taken its emergency programs to a whole new level as we teaches on the science of disasters side-by-side with the preparedness actions children can take before disaster strikes!
